The Story of Body & Skin by Maya

Maya started out in her career receiving her degree in Merchandising & Marketing from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising located in Los Angeles, California. Although she attended school for fashion she always had a deep appreciation and yearning to learn about holistic medicine, energy, crystal therapy and the study of the human anatomy. Maya started out working in the medical spa and plastic surgery field for the past 5 years later pursuing her license as an esthetician working in medical facilities along side doctors and nurses. After working in the aesthetic field for 2 years Maya received her license in  massage therapy with added certification in reiki healing. Maya hopes to use her talents and tools to help facilitate healing through out her community.
